The Golden State Pops Orchestra was founded in 2002 by Steven Allen Fox, GSPO's Artistic Director and Principal Conductor, with the purpose of showcasing great film and television music on the concert stage. We are proud of our history celebrating current musical masterpieces from your favorite films, video games and more. The concerts have included over 100 World Premieres and countless A-list composers and performers, such as Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Michael Giacchino, John Debney, Shoshana Bean, Tina Guo, Susan Egan, and many more.

GSPO not only provides entertainment but we are supporting artists, musicians, and composers that are shaping our era of music. GSPO reminds artists and patrons that simply loving music isn't enough to thrive in today's society. We depend on your support so we may continue this amazing journey together.
